 Weights {2008}
Comissioned by the Department of Sociology and Equity Studies in Education of UofT, for the special presentation of Lynn Manning's Weights. I worked with Lynn's photo taken by Christopher Voelker, to create a powerful and striking image. Seemingly provocative, I wanted the light brushstroke to suggest something more than a blindfold; perhaps, a reflection on how Lynn's disabilty has enlightened him, how the weight of his blindness did not take him into darkness but into the light.
